President Joe Biden today signed a declaration of emergency so that the U.S. can import more solar panels from Southeast Asian countries.
This, as there’s an ongoing investigation into whether these solar products in these countries are made with forced labor from China. If so, that means the White House is ignoring its own anti-forced labor policies.
