Amid turmoil around the world, escalating wars, and economic issues in the United States, White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said Monday that President Joe Biden has no immediate plans for a press conference directly with reporters.
While President Biden has occasionally interacted with the press in short spurts, he did not hold a traditional end-of-year press conference in December, 2023. Ms. Jean-Pierre also cut short a September, 2023 news conference with the President in Hanoi, Vietnam.
