The U.S. will penalize Chinese inbound travelers, should they provide fraudulent COVID-19 test results, according to a senior adviser for the White House COVID Response Team.
During an interview with VOA, Doctor Nahid Bhadelia clarified the consequences.
She said activities like providing inaccurate or misleading information to the government can be subject to criminal offense charges.
Her warning is based on the travel restriction order the CDC placed on Chinese tourists earlier this month.
