White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Monday the United States will deliver a “swift and severe response” if Iran follows through with any plan to transfer ballistic missiles to Russia as the latter continues its war with Ukraine.
Jean-Pierre also did not say whether the Biden administration believes an Iranian attack on Israel in response to the death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh is “inevitable” when asked by a reporter at a Monday press briefing.
