What comes next in the Republican primaries, now that former President Donald Trump has dominated the Iowa caucuses? The New Hampshire primaries are the next big event in the race for the GOP presidential nomination—and former President Donald Trump is leading the field by a narrower margin.

NTD spoke with political analyst and TV and radio host Jeff Crouere for more analysis.

“I think with Donald Trump winning so convincingly in Iowa, he’s going to have a lot of momentum going into New Hampshire,” said Mr. Crouere.

Mr. Crouere said the upcoming primary would be do-or-die for Nikki Haley.

“If she could prevail somehow, it helps her as she goes into Nevada, in her home state of South Carolina,” he said. “If she loses and then loses Nevada and South Carolina, she doesn’t really have a road after that—she’s got to have a victory. And it looks like her team thinks that, you know, with the help of the governor, that they can pull it out in New Hampshire and with the help of independent and democratic voters.”
