Senators who supported the foreign aid package for Ukraine and Israel say the United States needs to maintain its international standing as a guardian of Western-style democracy. Retired Lt. Col. Darin Gaub, an international military strategist, says that with the foreign aid package, the Senate is just throwing money at problems without providing strategy or analysis.
