Woman Posts on Facebook Before Allegedly Killing Boyfriend: ‘Never Let a Boy Put His Hands on You’

A Florida woman who allegedly killed her boyfriend posted on Facebook moments before the murder, officials said.

Ja’Quoia ‘XiaXiana’ Collins, 24, was accused of stabbing her boyfriend in the chest outside of an apartment building in Escambia County shortly before midnight on July 6.

According to Facebook posts on her page, Collins wrote several days prior, sharing a post from a friend about speaking poorly of someone’s children, “That Would Be My First & LAST Time Entering Escambia County Jail Cs I’m Going DOWN w that fresh Murder charge.”

She took to the website again on Saturday, writing: “[Expletive] Only think you Good for Sex, like [expletive] did you Know I Knew how to Draw.”

She made another post at 11:19 p.m., shortly before the stabbing, writing: “Ladies, NEVERRRR let a Boy put his hands on You cs a Real MAN ain’t Going for it,” according to an arrest report obtained by the Pensacola News-Journal.

That post was later deleted.

Collins was arrested on Sunday and charged with second-degree murder for allegedly killing Quartez McShane.

McShane’s mother pleaded with Circuit Judge Scott Duncan to let Collins out on bail during a court appearance on Monday.

“I know Jaquoia, and I would like for her to have bond, if you don’t mind,” Allen said in court. “Because I know that she’s a good mother. I’m hurting. I’m broken. But I know she has kids, and I want her to get her affairs in order, for her kids. She has my grandbaby. And I forgive her. And I love her. And I don’t know if she intentionally tried to do it. It’s up to you.”

The judge ruled that Collins should be held without bail.

Surveillance video obtained by officers showed McShane’s car entering the apartment complex just before the stabbing, and later showing Collins running away from the area after “a period of time.”

McShane was found to have suffered a stab wound to the chest, Sgt. Melony Peterson with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office told WEAR-TV. McShane was rushed to a hospital but later did.

McShane, 21, was known as “Quazzy,” family and friends told the broadcaster.

Neighbors said deputies had been called to the couple’s apartment before.

According to a local funeral home, the visitation for McShane was scheduled for Friday at the Tracy Morton Memorial Chapel in Pensacola. A service was slated for the next day at Wards Temple in Cantonment.

Fifteen people commented about the case on the local North Escambia blog.

“She deserves to be locked up for good. Quazzy was a good friend of mine,” wrote one.

Another accused McShane of abusing Collins.

“Too much information on the social media sites,” added another. “Do you think if I was going to shoot someone I would tell about it on Facebook? NOT!”

Added another: “This is a very very sad situation. As well as a lesson learned. We are not the judge!!!! Love will make you do some crazy things. Prayers for those innocent kids who has to grow up without their mother and a daughter who has to grow up without both of her parents. May God bring the family peace.”
