This Is What A Woman’s Sleeping Position Reveals About Her

If it’s something humans are particularly good at, it’s sleeping. There is no better feeling than a lie-in on a Saturday or the feeling of fresh sheets before you snuggle up in your newly-made bed for the night. It seems that everyone has their own way of sleeping soundly and everyone knows that without a fully-plumped pillow, a good night’s sleep just won’t happen.

We all love a good kip, and a great night’s sleep always sets us up for the day ahead. But did you know that how you sleep is indicative of who you are and your characteristics? Read on for a few clues about your personality just by looking at your sleeping positions.

1. The Freefall

Imagine this: you’ve set your alarm, jammies are on and you’ve got yourself comfy in bed by taking up as much space as possible. You’re sleeping on your stomach with your legs and arms all over the place, and you’ve never been more comfortable. Sound like you? That means you have an open and welcoming personality, although possibly a little too open at times.

2. The Hugger

We’re not talking some half-hearted, limp-handshake kind of hug here. We’re talking full on clutching the pillow like there’s no tomorrow, and using your duvet to make a pillow for your legs kind of hug. If you’re agreeing with everything we’re saying here, it means you’re the kind of person to be an incredibly loyal, reliable and trusting friend, although sometimes slightly too trusting.

3. The Board

Tensing up whilst you sleep? Like your sleep on the straight and narrow? Not one for curling up under the covers? This means you’re pretty quiet and reserved in comparison to your sleeping counterparts. You may also have a slightly inflated sense of self, and not afraid to let go and party if the time calls for it!

None of these fit your sleeping pattern? Maybe you sleep on your side, or snore so loud the walls shake? Read on for more tips and types of sleeping position, and what it says about you!

4. The Side Sleeper

Your partner won’t find it rude, but sometimes it just feels better to sleep on your side! If this sounds like something you’d do, it means you are a calm and laid back person, and very trusting in other people.

5. The Back Snorer

The kind of sleeping position that no-one really admits to, but definitely does… the back snorer. It could be a tiny snore as quiet as a mouse, or the kind of snore that leaves little to the imagination but regardless, if you’re a snorer then you’re more likely to be irritable – all that snoring is probably waking you up and making you more irritable!
