World Bank, IMF meet in Washington

The titans of finance gathered together for a family photo.

The 189 members of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund met in Washington, D.C., for a group photo and some financial discussions on Friday, April 17.

The two groups have been in town since April 17.

The meetings have featured seminars on a wide range of topics, including regional economic development, empowering women, and civil society.

Other topics covered were tax laws, investment strategies, and trade. Even the impact of refugees is on the agenda.

The two groups’ spring meetings will end on Sunday, April 23.
