World War II Veteran Killed With His War-Era Gun

A 95-year-old veteran died from a shot fired from a gun he had brought home from World War II. The man reportedly had the weapon in his bedroom in Brooklyn where the incident took place.

Sources told the New York Post the veteran committed suicide with the pistol after an argument with his wife. NTD reached out to the NYPD to confirm the story but didn’t hear back before broadcast. The gun and two shell casings were reportedly recovered at the scene. The man was not known to suffer from any mental illness according to sources.
