A driver plowed through a crowd of pedestrians on New York City’s Times Square during lunch hour on May 18.

The driver traveled the wrong way down 7th Avenue for three blocks, running over people in his maroon Honda.

He didn’t stop until he hit a pole at 45th and Broadway.

He tried to flee the scene, and punched a policeman who tried to stop him.

One of his victims died at the scene. Three were critically injured.

The 26-year-old driver, a Bronx resident, had two DUIs.

It isn’t know if he was intoxicated during this incident.
