After more than two weeks of strict lockdowns, Xi’an announced on Wednesday, that community virus cases in the city had reached “basically zero,” and that the outbreak had been effectively controlled. This means, that all new cases were detected in “individuals undergoing quarantine and in areas under lockdown.”
