Linked with the normal wiper equipment a is cord attached to each wiper, the person in the backseat may be a very critical passenger in the car.
It also explains why you need at least three people when being taking this out for a spin in the rain… One to drive, one to wiper and the third to hold a camera. They looked to have a lot of fun doing so.
