YouTube and other Google services went down early Monday.

Gmail and Google Drive also weren’t working for many users.

YouTube’s team said in a statement just after 7 a.m. Eastern Time, “We are aware that many of you are having issues accessing YouTube right now—our team is aware and looking into it.”

The team said it would give an update when it had more news.

Google didn’t immediately respond to a query about some of its services not working.

The situation led to “#YouTubeDOWN” trending on Twitter as people commiserated about the issue.

Some users said going into incognito mode in their browser enabled use of YouTube.
