Zelenskyy and NATO Defend Idea of Hitting Targets in Russia, Putin Warns of Consequences

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy continued his Europe trip on May 28 to secure arms deals with two more countries. Mr. Zelenskyy criticized that some Western countries don’t allow Ukraine to use their weapons on targets in Russia. NATO’s secretary general also said Ukraine should be allowed to do so. Russian President Vladimir Putin said NATO members are playing with fire by proposing to let Ukraine attack targets in Russia.
