Congestion at Ports of Los Angeles Could Last Until Next Summer, Unless Supply Chain Gets Fixed | Noel Hacegaba
The ships that are anchored around ports of Los Angeles, waiting to get in, “are effectively serving as warehouses on the water. I mean, that’s what they’re doing. They’re storing these containers,” said Noel Hacegaba, the deputy executive director of the Port of Long Beach.
The ports are having a serious backlog, and the reasons might not be what you think.
