U.S. Congressman Jack Bergman from Wisconsin just visited Texas. After witnessing the situation first hand he said the lack of surveillance equipment and fiber optic cables has taken the advantage away from border patrol and given it to cartels. He’s calling on D.C. leadership, including the executive branch to come take a look first hand.

In Arizona, a convicted murderer was arrested outside of Tuscon after crossing the border illegally. NTD spoke to Mark Morgan who is a former acting commissioner of Customs and Border Protection. He makes a serious statement about the security of the southwest border overall and breaks down some numbers.
