Berkshire Hathaway is trimming its stake in Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD again.
The investment company owned by Warren Buffett sold $34 million worth of the shares recently. That stake is listed in Hong Kong.
The latest sale lowered Berkshire’s holdings in BYD total issued Hong Kong-listed shares to below 15 percent.
That means Berkshire has sold over a quarter of its position in the last five months.
BYD is Tesla’s rival in China. It beat out Tesla in sales number in the second and third quarters of this year. And claimed the title of world’s largest electric vehicle maker.
