Beijing has blocked a senior U.S. executive from leaving the country, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Michael Chan is a managing director at U.S. risk advisory firm Kroll. He traveled to China in July and later informed his employer that he wasn’t allowed to leave, though he can move around freely and is still working.
