EV Sales Tied to Subsidies: Economist Highlights Dip as Incentives End

Electric vehicle sales in several European nations indicate a slowdown, revealing a market heavily reliant on government subsidies. While there’s been progress, the industry’s momentum seems tied to these incentives, potentially leading to decreased sales if subsidies are withdrawn.

NTD spoke with Nicolas Lecaussin, an Economist at Paris think tank IREF, who says the same trend appears in other European Union countries.
