Zooming In: Weekly Standard’s Ethan Epstein on ‘Fake News,’ ‘Moral Clarity’ Ahead of Trump Inauguration

The weeks and days before the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump have been abuzz with speculation about the leader-to-be’s picks for his administration, while talk and fear of “fake news” grips the media.

At a rare press conference on Jan. 10, Trump derided the mainstream media, telling a CNN reporter multiple times that he was “fake news.” The same day, as former Exxon executive Rex Tillerson attended his confirmation hearing in anticipation of rising to the post of Secretary of State, Sen. Marco Rubio called him out for a lack of “moral clarity.”

In this exclusive interview, watch NTD host Simone Gao and associate editor Ethan Epstein of The Weekly Standard magazine make sense of the commotion, less than 72 hours before the Donald Trump is sworn in as 45th President of the United States.
