Fed Pessimistic, So Why are Markets Up?

A record number of people have appeared at food banks and the Federal Reserve is being more pessimistic on the economic outlook than many finance professionals expected looking at the stock market. This comes after the challenging effects of extended lockdowns and current pandemic restrictions.

We asked Daniel Lacalle, the chief economist at the Tressis hedge fund, about why are we seeing the stock markets hit all-time highs, under the slowdown in job figures and the threat of more lockdowns.
