According to Cal Fire, fires burned over 2.4 million acres of land in California. Officials have said there’s a shortage of personnel, as out-of-state firefighters provided assistance. But local fire captain Christopher Dean of Chester, California, told NTD that his team wasn’t fully utilized through the updated California Fire Assistance Agreement (CFAA).
