Since 2020, major companies, Hollywood, and even the military have instituted diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs in response to a strong progressive push. However, one of the executive orders President Donald Trump issued on his first day in office was the elimination of DEI in the federal government, which he called illegal and immoral discrimination programs within the government.
