Japan's prime minister is sounding the alarm on China.

In her first post-election speech to parliament, Sanae Takaichi warned of what she called growing Chinese “coercion.”

She said Japan is facing its toughest security environment since World War II, pointing to Beijing's expanding military activity in the East China and South China Seas.

She also cited the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) closer ties with Russia and warned about North Korea's nuclear missile program.

Her message was clear: Japan must adapt.
