Japan’s Muroya comes in first at Air Race Championship second round

Yoshihide Muroya of Japan took a first place victory at the Air Race Championship’s second round. He flew  the air course, winding around pillars and maneuvering with precision—getting a perfect run.

He came in victorious with a time of 58.529. In second place was Peter Podlunsek of Slovenia. He finished almost two seconds behind, at 1:00.454. Last year’s champion, Matthias Dolderer, came in third. The German was penalized for tapping a pylon as he flew.

The next round of competition is in Chiba, Japan.
