NASA’s new Artemis-one rocket is the most powerful yet—and the culmination of years of work for hundreds of people. Many of the workers are based in two major facilities: one in Mississippi and one in Louisiana. A manager said the workers in these programs all live in those regions, with many going back two or three generations in the field.
