A mother of three died in the boating accident involving Kevin—Mr. Wonderful—O’Leary on Lake Joseph in Ontario Canada.

Suzana Brito, a 48-year-old Uxbridge, Canada, mother of three, died in the hospital on Monday night, Aug. 26, reported by the Toronto Sun.

Brito is the second fatality from the boat crash on Saturday, August 24 at about 11:30 p.m. involving a speedboat of Canadian millionaire, business icon and “Shark Tank” TV show personality Kevin O’Leary.

O’Leary was on his boat being steered by his wife, Linda, at the time of the accident.  In addition, a third passenger was on the boat with the O’Learys who was also injured.

Linda O’Leary underwent a DUI test and passed it, TMZ reported.

The two fatalities occurred on a bigger, 13 passenger boat.  In addition, two other people on board also sustained injuries and were treated at the hospital, according to an Ontario Provincial Police spokesperson said, CheatSheet reported.

The Ontario Police Department is investigating the possibility of a boat fleeing the scene of the crash.

O’Leary’s boat went over the other boat’s bow and reportedly struck Gary Poltash, a 64-year-old man from Florida on the head and killed him on the spot, TMZ reported.

According to People, a representative of O’Leary stated: “We are devastated by the event that occurred on Saturday night on Lake Joseph. Mr. O’Leary is cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation into this tragedy. We respect the investigation process being conducted by the Police, and will not comment further. Our thoughts and prayers are with victims and their families. We ask that everyone respect Mr. O’Leary and his family’s privacy during this time.”

No charges have been filed at this time. One of the key questions is whether the larger boat had its lights on and whether it was visible to the steersman of the smaller boat, according to the New York Daily News.

Report: ‘Shark Tank’ Star’s Boat Involved in Fatal Accident in Canada

At least one person was killed, and two others were injured in a Canadian boating accident that involved “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary, who was on board.

The victim was identified by the Toronto Sun as a 64-year-old American. Another victim was identified as a 48-year-old woman who had critical injuries.

“Late Saturday night I was a passenger in a boat that had a tragic collision with another craft that had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene of the accident,” O’Leary, a Canadian, said in a statement to TMZ.

He added: “Out of respect for the families who have lost loved ones and to fully support the ongoing investigation, I feel it is inappropriate to make further comments at this time. My thoughts are with all the families affected.”

TMZ reported that O’Leary owned the boat that was involved in the crash. O’Leary, however, hasn’t confirmed the report. The report also said that his boat allegedly rammed into the larger boat and went over the bow and hit a male in the head, killing him.

Police said that a critical aspect of the investigation is whether the larger boat had its lights on.

A representative for the celebrity told the news outlet that his wife was driving the boat during the time of the crash. She was given a DUI test and passed.

The spokesperson said that the other boat involved in the accident fled the scene. According to TMZ, the owner of the other boat said O’Leary’s boat left the scene.
