In a recent survey by the National Association of Business Economics, 91 percent of polled economists expressed confidence that the United States is poised to evade a recession in the upcoming year, with a resounding majority indicating a probability of 50 percent or less.

Despite facing Western sanctions, China strategically secured a significant amount of discounted oil from Russia. Recent Chinese customs data unveiled Russia’s emergence as China’s primary oil supplier in the past year, seizing the opportunity of discounted prices amid international hesitance following the Kremlin’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
