Two Kansas City, Missouri, police officers entered Riss Lake on Sunday after reports of a possible drowning.

They found a woman struggling to stay afloat in deep water near the center of the lake.

The officers removed their gear, swam out, and pulled the woman safely back to shore.

Police have not released the woman’s condition, and did not provide any further details about the rescue.
