After an all-night voting session, the Senate approved a $69.5 billion reconciliation package focused on immigration enforcement funding through 2029. The legislation now heads to the House, where Speaker Mike Johnson says lawmakers plan to take it up next week.

Russian President Vladimir Putin rejects Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s request for a meeting, adding, "The proposals put forward by President Trump ... could well be the basis of a peace settlement.”

The Department of Justice is investigating election fraud in California, with President Donald Trump alleging irregularities. U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli posted on X, “The state has stonewalled every effort to verify that only eligible U.S. citizens are registered to vote.”
