The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) labeled her a priority target in 2022 under the Biden administration.

Despite her sorority status among intelligence investigations, Rodriguez has not been indicted in a U.S. court like Maduroand several high-ranking Venezuelan officials have been.

Since taking power in Venezuela, Rodríguez has signalled a willingness to cooperate with the Trump administration.

She has ordered the release of a few political prisoners, and said she would reform the hydrocarbon law to allow for us oil companies to invest in the country.
