California Mayor Resigns, Will Plead Guilty to Acting as Chinese Agent

Eileen Wang, the former mayor of Arcadia, California, pleaded guilty to charges she was working as a foreign agent for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Michael Lucci, founder and CEO of State Armor—an organization helping states enact solutions to global security threats, especially those posed by the Chinese regime—joins NTD for analysis.

Senator Ted Cruz pointed out that the punishment for this crime seems weak. Lucci agrees the laws are not strong enough, and makes the point that Mayor Wang is not the only California politician to favor the CCP.

Meanwhile, Governor Gavin Newsom is allegedly the only governor in the country to reject legislation to protect his people from the CCP, and has reminded Americans that California has the fourth largest economy in the world. Lucci’s suggestion is to add 10 years to any sentencing for crimes involving the CCP.
