Don Palmer, senior legal fellow for Election Integrity at The Heritage Foundation, discussed with NTD's Steve Lance the government oversight and regulations President Donald Trump is trying to implement with his executive order governing mail-in voting.

Palmer also discussed the need for uniformity, safety measures, and tracking of mail-in ballots. He said the data debunks the argument that eliminating mail-in voting disenfranchises voters.

Palmer advocated for the SAVE Act, and other legislation that aims to strengthen voter registration rules, and he stressed the need for election officials to use every tool available from the federal government to protect election databases from cyber attacks.
