Anderson recounts his 18-month experience as an embedded journalist with law enforcement, exposing the devastating impact of meth addiction on rural communities. “Meth doesn’t just destroy lives—it destroys entire communities,” he explains.

He also explores the fentanyl epidemic, contrasting its deadly toll with meth’s corrosive effect on society, while warning that AI addiction could become an even greater crisis. “We’ve seen drugs tear people apart, but AI is different—it’s rewiring how we think, behave, and connect,” he cautions.

“In the last four or five years, it’s been more deaths than I’ve ever seen in my career,” Anderson reveals. “We’ve had a fundamental misunderstanding about the nature of drug addiction for over 40 years in this country.”
