Trump Admin Revokes More Than 175,000 US Visas

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach discussed with NTD’s Steve Lance his lawsuit against Meta under the Kansas Consumer Protection Act and the federal Online Childhood Protection Act.

The bipartisan lawsuit is brought by a coalition of 29 U.S. states. Meanwhile, eight other states are also suing Meta individually under their own state laws.

Kobach described Meta’s addictive design features and the psychological harm they cause children, including body shaming. He is seeking an injunction that would require Meta to change these practices, by introducing measures such as timeouts to interrupt infinite scrolling, overall time limits, and stricter age restrictions on certain features. Kobach said he expects the case to have national implications and ultimately produce uniform improvements to Meta across the United States.

Kobach separately highlighted a major victory for Kansas and 14 other states in a federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of federal regulations on gun suppressors, and the injunction that took effect last week.
