Former President Donald Trump is appealing Maine's decision to remove him from the ballot, while an appeal against a similar decision in Colorado is also likely in the offing.

NTD spoke to William Scharf, a former federal prosecutor and an attorney for President Trump.

"We believe that the U.S. Supreme Court will ultimately do the right thing here, and keep President Trump on the ballot nationwide," said Mr. Scharf.

"This Maine decision is so deficient in anything even coming close to the due process that it would deserve, that we think it will be swiftly overturned."
