Madeline Summerville, national Trial Attorney, and former Democratic speech writer, and Kate Monroe, a Republican strategist, and Marine veteran, joined a panel discussion with NTD's Iris Tao, to analyze the latest developments in Operation Epic Fury.

Summerville said the media turned the camera off when President Donald Trump did something good, but that the media is covering the war in Iran with an anti-war focus.

Monroe said there was never a threat of a draft, that it's a perfectly executed mission, not a war.

The panel discussed the need to pass a bill to re-authorize FISA with safeguards in place. They also discussed New Jersey's 11th District electing a progressive representative to Congress. Summerville says that there is a trend of progressive Democrats winning if they believe in their message. Monroe says the message is "fun to say," but the reality is someone has to pay for it. Monroe also said that Republicans need to focus on how to get more money in Americans' pockets ahead of the midterm election.
