Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem highlighted nearly four dozen criminal illegal immigrants arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minnesota.

In a chain of posts on X on Monday, Noem said that immigration law enforcement agents had arrested 3,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records in Minneapolis in the past 6 weeks. She went on to list 47 of those criminals, all of whom were charged or convicted with crimes such as homicide, sexual assault, and drug trafficking, among others.

"PEACE AND PUBLIC SAFETY IN MINNEAPOLIS!" Noem <a href="https://x.com/Sec_Noem/status/2013275320099483697">said on X</a>. "We have arrested over 10,000 criminal illegal aliens who were killing Americans, hurting children and reigning terror in Minneapolis because [Minnesota Gov.] Tim Walz and [Minneapolis Mayor] Jacob Frey refuse to protect their own people and instead protect criminals. In the last 6 weeks, our brave DHS law enforcement have arrested 3,000 criminal illegal aliens including vicious murderers, rapists, child pedophiles and incredibly dangerous individuals. A HUGE victory for public safety."

Noem replied to her original post with 47 posts of mugshots of the arrestees and the crimes or violations they have been accused or convicted of.

The plurality of the arrestees—13 in total—were from Laos. One of these illegal immigrants had convictions for homicide, vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, and arson. Another had previously been convicted of kidnapping a child with the intent to sexually assault and strong-arm rape. He also had a final order of removal dated March 2004.

Another person had a final order of removal dated October 2006, and had been convicted of procuring a child prostitute, sexual assault, and sodomy of a girl under the age of 13. Still another had convictions for strong-arm rape and strong-arm aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a weapon, and domestic violence. Another had convictions for attempting strong-arm rape and a final order of removal dated December 2009.

Eight of the illegal immigrants were from Mexico. One of those people had a child sexual assault conviction, four DUIs, and a final order of removal dated from December 2016. Three others had DUI convictions, and two had domestic violence charges or convictions. One was alleged to have child pornography on a work computer. Another was convicted of smuggling other illegal immigrants.

Six of the listed illegal immigrants were Somalian nationals. One was convicted of homicide. Another was a noted member of two prominent prison gangs and has convictions for fraud, receiving stolen property, receiving a stolen vehicle, and vehicle theft. Another had convictions on two counts of domestic violence, three DUIs, assault, and damaging property. Another was convicted of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, while another had two domestic violence charges. Still another had convictions for four different crimes: fraud, robbery, assault, and larceny.

Another five were Ecuadoran nationals. One of them had prior convictions for robbery and extortion and an active warrant for murder in Ecuador, and in the United States, he has an active search warrant for sexual assault in Connecticut. Another had convictions for both assault and sexual assault, domestic violence, and DUI. Another had a conviction for criminal sexual conduct with a child. Another had a drug trafficking conviction, while still another had a charge of vehicular homicide.

Three of the illegals listed by Noem were from El Salvador. One of them was a known member of MS-13 with drug trafficking and homicide convictions. He also had a prior arrest for homicide in El Salvador in 2011. Another had a charge for lewd acts with a minor, and the third had sexual assault and obstruction of justice convictions.

Another individual was an Iranian national who was a former member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps with admitted connections to Hezbollah. Another illegal immigrant from Thailand pled guilty to threats of terror, along with arson and several other charges.

The Department of Homeland Security also maintains on its <a href="https://www.dhs.gov/wow">website</a> a list of "the worst of worst criminal aliens arrested," which includes individuals from countries like Vietnam, Cuba, Burma, Afghanistan, and Tanzania.
