NTD was live outside the courthouse where Tyler Robinson, 23, who was charged with aggravated murder for the assassination of Charlie Kirk last year, attended the first day of a weeklong preliminary hearing. Utah prosecutors will present evidence to the judge to determine whether there is enough to move the case forward to trial. Two witnesses were called on to testify and describe what they experienced on the day of the assassination.

President Donald Trump issues a fierce rebuke to communism as he celebrates the official launch of Trump accounts. Trump called these accounts the ultimate weapon against the ideology he says threatens American freedom. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent opened the ceremony and encouraged parents to take advantage of the newly launched investment opportunity to help their children.

"The American dream belongs to every child, and today we are equipping the next generation with the right to claim their rightful share of it," Bessent said.

FIFA rejects Belgium's appeal of the organization's decision to allow U.S. striker Folarin Balogun to play in Monday's World Cup match against Belgium despite receiving a red card in the American team's previous game. Trump said on Monday that he called FIFA's president Gianni Infantino about the red card and asked for a review.
