Former President Donald Trump's New York criminal trial entered its final stage with closing arguments. His attorneys painted key witness Michael Cohen as a liar, and the prosecutors argued that President Trump was involved in a conspiracy.

The judge in President Trump's classified documents case rejected a request for a gag order against him. She criticized the prosecutors for not following the court’s rules by failing to meaningfully confer with President Trump’s defense lawyers.

President Joe Biden's campaign held a press conference in front of President Trump's courthouse. Biden allies, including actor Robert De Niro and two Jan. 6 responders, used the opportunity to condemn President Trump.

A million civilians have evacuated from the city of Rafah. Witnesses said Israeli tanks have now made their way to central Rafah. This came as the U.S.-built pier will be removed from the coast in Gaza for repairs.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Portugal and Belgium and secured over a billion dollars worth of aid from them. Mr. Zelenskyy criticized that some Western countries don't allow Ukraine to use their weapons on targets in Russia.
