A leadership change is coming at the FBI, with Director Christopher Wray announcing he will step down in the wake of President-elect Donald Trump tapping former National Security Council assistant deputy Kash Patel to lead the bureau.

NTD speaks to John Malcolm, the vice president of the Heritage Foundation's Institute for Constitutional Government and the director of the Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies. He says Patel cannot unilaterally shut down the FBI headquarters in Washington, because that would take an act of Congress.

However, he says Trump and possible future Attorney General Pam Bondi will likely be receptive to suggestions Patel may have if confirmed by the Senate.
