The movement first originated in Taiwan after the island's Parliament passed a recent bill. Many Taiwanese people believe the measure could hurt the island's democracy.

The campaign's organizer, called Overseas Bluebird Support Group, aims to raise global awareness and support for Taiwan's democracy.
