Trump Calls Iran's Response to Latest US Ceasefire Proposal 'Totally Unacceptable'

From Vivek Ramaswamy's high level of support among supporters of former President Donald Trump, to establishment Republicans "leaving" Gov. Ron DeSantis to support Nikki Haley: There's a lot happening for the GOP candidates as the Iowa caucuses near.

That's according to Jeff Crouere, a political analyst and TV and radio host. NTD spoke to him to find out more about the lie of the land in Iowa.

"I saw at the Trump rally questions being asked as to who the VP choice should be: the majority said Ramaswamy," said Mr. Crouere. "So he's certainly getting a lot of support from Trump supporters."

Mr. Crouere said that Iowa would prove a stern test for Nikki Haley, however. "She's made a few mistakes recently," he said, such as comments about slavery, or her "comments about New Hampshire correcting the vote of Iowa. Those are big mistakes. And I think it's hurt her in these final few days before the caucus."

He said that expectations are very high for Ms. Haley.

"If she has a poor showing, it's going to hurt her in New Hampshire, where she needs to do well. So she's got a lot at stake, maybe more so than any other candidate."

He also spoke of Gov. DeSantis's support from the Governor of Iowa, but said that President Trump will be keen to avenge his loss to Ted Cruz in Iowa in 2016 by winning The Hawkeye State by a substantial margin.
