President Donald Trump welcomed the job growth in January, saying the jobs numbers are "great, far greater than expected."

In a Truth Social post this morning, Trump wrote, "The United States of America should be paying MUCH LESS on its Borrowings (BONDS!)."

He added: "We are again the strongest Country in the World, and should therefore be paying the LOWEST INTEREST RATE, by far. This would be an INTEREST COST SAVINGS OF AT LEAST ONE TRILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR - BALANCED BUDGET."

White House economic adviser Kevin Hassett also weighed in on the latest jobs data.
