It appears the United States won its first battle in the new global tariff war of President Donald Trump’s second administration.

In the early hours of Jan. 24, a photo on the official White House Facebook page showed illegal immigrants, hands and feet shackled, being loaded onto a military jumbo transport plane to be deported back to their country of origin. Reportedly, that first batch of illegal immigrants was sent back to Guatemala.

However, not all Latin American countries were open to the deportations.

For instance, just two days after the Trump administration began operating its deportation flights, an international spat kicked off between the United States and … Colombia.
