The U.S.–China Economic and Security Review Commission held a hearing Thursday to discuss the Chinese Communist Party’s preparation for war and conflicts. According to former Deputy Director of National Intelligence Cliff Sims, China seeks to dominate the world through military, economic, and technological means. Mr. Sims said challenges from both in and outside the country have prompted Beijing to mobilize its entire state apparatus.
