Shen Yun Performing Arts finished its four performances in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Dec. 28. Audiences in Florida thought the Shen Yun performance was fantastic.
“Well I’ve been waiting years to see this, and it’s fantastic. I’m so happy I came, it’s really a beautiful afternoon,” said Dr. Lewis Wetstein, a surgeon. He came to see the performance together with his wife and daughter.
Shen Yun is based in New York. Its mission is to revive 5,000 years of divinely inspired culture before communism, through classical Chinese dance and music.
“It’s lovely to see. I know it’s an ancient culture and I know it’s sacred and I think people have forgotten that. It’s just an amazing show, to show the beauty of the Chinese culture through dance. It was an amazing experience, just to be here, to experience it with everyone,” said Francois Scheepers, a chartered financial analyst.
He felt a spiritual connection while watching the show: “There’s something ancient in the dance where you can feel the energy and the vibration just sitting on the chair.”
Alex Marshal, the owner of Aptihealth, was impressed by the performance: “But the costumes and the dance, they were spectacular. It was just a combination of creativity, athleticism, it was really hard to top.”
He added that the show is amazing: “Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s fantastic. It’s just amazing, great job.”
