“The performance was so majestic that it reminded me of the 5,000 years of Chinese culture taught through my history class,” she said.
“I thought it was a very vibrant depiction of people, color and imagery, and I got very excited, and I thought the audience was very enthusiastic when the curtain opened up,” said Stephen Lanza, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general.
“The art of Shen Yun has a strong infectious power and charisma,” said Chen Chun-chia, a company general manager. “It is a world-class performance, and every movement gives you a sense that it fully expresses the beauty of the divine.”
“My whole body was warmed up and I felt as if Buddha's light was shining on me. Every time I come to the performance, I feel that my mind has been purified and I am very happy, as if I have been cleansed,” said Yu Kai-ling, CEO of a biotechnology research company.
“Shen Yun itself has a power of the divine, a positive energy that emanates from it,” said Chen Wen-tsung, honorary chairman of an auto workers union.
“Shen Yun is a connection to the divine will, a note from heaven, so this is worth watching,” said company general manager Lai Feng-chang.
“I saw a very pure energy in Shen Yun's performers, and even a power that made people want to leap and fly with the dancers,” said Tseng Mei-man.
“I felt inside very good about it. And I think it wasn't just myself and not even being Chinese, but just feeling very good about this inside. And I would highly recommend the show to anybody to see,” said Stephen Lanza.
“Shen Yun preserves the good of the past. I was thinking they are doing what the Italian families of the Renaissance did, to keep the culture alive. What Shen Yun has been doing is a pretty remarkable thing,” said Chang Hui-mei, said a furniture company CEO.
“Shen Yun's performers are full of vitality, and they are the new generation of young people. I was very impressed by this realization, because it's really precious to have such spirit and such culture in young people,” said university professor Tung Kuo-chang.
“I would like to thank Shen Yun artists for their efforts in training. I think the spirit Shen Yun has been upholding is an unshakeable strength. It leads us to break free from the iron curtain (of the Chinese Communist Party), especially when the group itself is undergoing long-term persecution. I admire their spirit,” said Tseng Mei-man.
“To all the artists, I'm just amazed by your work. I think what you're doing is so important, I think, to show the world the culture of China and. Up just the history of China through art and dance, it's just magnificent, and I commend you, and I wish you the best in your continued success,” said Stephen Lanza.
