“A beautiful show, truly stunning. It’s a performance that has fantastic visual artistry and synchronization between the orchestra, the choreography, and the lighting is amazing. The screen is amazing,” Tércio Marinho, an actor, said.
“Absolutely gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. And we keep discovering during the show the power they have through the Divine,” actress Ste Durval said.
“It really requires a high level of technique and coordination,” Danielle Santiago Ferreira da Rocha, a judge, said.
Mr. Marinho said, “I think they portray a 5,000-year history. There are many phases of Chinese culture across different eras represented. So you get a broad perspective of an entire way of thinking, of an entire Chinese tradition.”
“I am truly delighted with the performance and I feel they really came here to show us a part of Chinese culture, so I would like to congratulate them,” Judge Rocha said.
Mr. Marinho said, “The orchestra is spectacular. It becomes one with the performance, the scene, the lighting, the direction. The orchestra is perfect.”
Shen Yun’s performance also features singers in the bel canto style whose lyrics deeply resonated with many of the audience members.
Ms. Rocha said, “I found it beautiful. The message, the lyrics convey a very beautiful message about the importance of the connection between us humans and the Divine.”
Mr. Marinho said, “I was deeply moved by the show. It’s a performance of great refinement and outstanding visual artistry.”
Fernanda Olivier, an administrator, said, “It was incredible. We were amazed. The company itself does an incredible job. And we’ll be here next year, for sure.”
